We loved the convenient location, making it easy for us to explore the town and visit Semuc Champey. the restaurant offered delicious and affordable food, and we enjoyed the lovely view from our room. the hotel had a beautiful pool and restaurant area, with great music at the bar. the tuk tuks were a cheap and convenient way to get around the town.
We felt so much at home during our stay that we have no complaints whatsoever.

I recently stayed at Vinas in Lanquin for a few days and had a fantastic time. The hotel had a clean pool, hammocks, AC, and a tour office that arranged a great Semuc full tour and a shuttle to Antigua. The staff were incredibly friendly and relaxed, creating a nice atmosphere. During a thunderstorm, the pool flooded, but the staff worked hard to have it up and running by the end of the day. Special thanks to Paulina for arranging a seamless and stress-free transfer to Xela at a lower cost than other quotes. The pets on the property, including dogs, cats, and a rabbit, were all clean and friendly.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The best aspects of my stay were the comfortable beds and the good location. The beds were so cozy and inviting, making it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, as it was conveniently situated near key attractions and activities. This made it easy for me to explore and make the most of my time during my Christmas vacation. I really enjoyed the delicious locally grown food served at the hotel's restaurant. It not only tasted great, but it also gave me the opportunity to savor the flavors of the region.
The worst aspect of my stay was the limited vegetarian options in the restaurant. While the food overall was nice, I felt that there could have been more varied choices for vegetarians.

The hotel offered clean and basic rooms, perfect for a short stay. The location was convenient, situated on the way to a popular tourist spot. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranging tours and shuttles for guests. One of the best aspects was the lovely pool area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
That the hotel felt a little isolated, with limited dining options nearby. there were some issues with the water in the shower, taking a while to heat up.

We had a great time at this hotel in Lanquin. the location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. the private room we stayed in was basic but comfortable, with hot water and AC. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing detailed instructions on how to get to the hotel. the pool was a refreshing spot to cool off in the evening.
The instructions for the shuttle pickup were misleading, causing some confusion upon arrival.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the friendly and attentive staff at the hotel. They made me feel at home and were always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. Another aspect that impressed me was the stunning location of the hotel. Set amidst the lush jungle, it provided breathtaking views from the upper rooms. Additionally, the food at the hotel was amazing. I enjoyed delicious meals that were not only satisfying but also represented the local flavors and cuisine.
There were a couple of drawbacks during my stay. the noise from dogs and roosters calling throughout the night was quite disruptive.

The hotel had a great swimming pool, pool-side bar, and a good restaurant with delicious food at reasonable prices. the rooms were comfortable with AC and hot water. Wi-fi worked well and there was a nice shared balcony with hammocks. the staff, especially the helpful lady from Poland, provided excellent service and were happy to give advice and book onward travel. Convenient pickup for Semuc Champey tours and close to shops.
Felt safe and secure, no complaints.

During my stay at Vinas, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable beds in the room. They were extra wide and felt almost as spacious as a double bed in other hotels. I also loved the privacy offered by room #8, which was located at the end of the balcony and provided a nice view. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, with everything being spotless and hot water available in the shower. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious meals at affordable prices, and I appreciated the effort made by the staff to accommodate my vegan diet. Additionally, the tours offered by the hotel were of good quality and reasonably priced. The surroundings of the hotel were beautiful, with a lovely pool area and a charming turkey wandering around.
Although my stay at Vinas was overall enjoyable, there were a few drawbacks. my room faced the road, resulting in some noise disturbances.

We stayed at Viñas for two nights and I sincerely regret not staying longer. The staff is friendly & relaxed, giving the place a nice atmosphere. They even managed to quickly fix the pool after a thunderstorm flooded it. Special thanks to Paulina for arranging our hassle-free transfer to Xela at a cheaper cost. Viñas offers unique adventure activities like mountain boarding and supports the local community. The pets on the property are clean and friendly.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The staff were really nice and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or problems we had. The beautiful view from the rooms and the refreshing swimming pool were definitely highlights of our stay. having hot water in the shower was a pleasant surprise, and the brand new A/C in the private rooms was a nice touch.
The location of the hotel was not ideal, as it was quite far from the center where restaurants and travel agencies are located. , the lack of wifi was a disappointment.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, nestled in the jungle but still within walking distance of the town. We loved the peaceful and serene atmosphere, especially while lounging by the pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the fans provided cool relief from the heat. We also appreciated the assistance provided by the hostel in organizing transfers and the Semuc Champey tour.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. we were disappointed that there were no lockers in the dorm rooms, as this would have been useful for storing valuables.
